IS THIS LEGAL GROUNDS TO BREAK MY CONTRACT?
By Kate
I sprung a septic leak. I got up in the morning to discover water all over the bathroom floor and in the carpeted area of the hall and bedrooms. It was a Saturday, so I called the emergency maintainance guy. It took about six hours, but the plumber finally came out to fix the problem. In the meantime, my carpets are saturated with sewer water. I asked management to send someone out with wet/dry vac. and to shampoo carpets. They told me they could send someone on Mon. I have several auto-immune diseases and should not be messing with raw sewage. Is 48 hrs considered reasonable time to get this cleaned up?
