Third party occupants legal rights

I have a notarized lease in MY name and landlord agreed that I allow a friend to be sole occupant of the rented property. I am trying to protect my friend from his abusive parents. He is 18 and a legal adult. Do I have the legal right to keep the parents off the property? And If my friend agreed to have them there (I know its a crazy question) would I still have the right to keep them away? I need an answer ASAP please

You have every right of what you want to do with your property, who stays in your property and what not. Stick with your lease agreement as to who will stay there. Also there’s really not much of us we can do if your friend wanted to be with his parents.
