Hello,

I have to renew my lease and instead of getting a new lease i’ve gotten an Apartment Lease Amendment.  I’ve done it in the past no problem.  But i’ve noticed in this one it states that "the Lease clause "Lessee’s Covenants in Event of Termination" is amended to be 1 month’s rent."  Can you let me know what that means?

The second thing is taht it states that i can’t use "any mechanical exercise equipment", can a landlord prohibit a tenant from improving their health or well being?  I mean that would mean i can’t use a bike or a treadmill in my own apartment.

 Please let me know if you can answer my questions, if not please direct me to who could.
