Looking for a way out
By Heather
I am a college student that just moved in to my apartment this past fall. I renewed my lease in order for a cheaper rent the next fall, but now I realise I can find somewhere cheaper… how does sub-leasing work? Can I get out of my lease renewal? I just do not want to be responsible for making sure someone pays rent if I sub-lease because I do not trust people to make their payments and I do not want to spot someone’s rent.
Thank you for your help in advance!
