Raising the Rent
By JMD
In Feb. my landlord raised my rent to $975.00 a month up from the orginal $850. He had me sign a 5 month lease instead of a year. Now he is raising it to $1,200.00 a month. He is doing this without any warning and he knows I can’t offord to pay that. So now with only a months notice I have to find a new place. Is this legal for him to do this?
