Bed Bugs and Lease Agreement

I live in Colorado, and I recently discovered bed bugs in my apartment. After some research, it seems to me that landlords are typically responsible for paying for the extermination of bed bugs because they effect the habitability of the apartment. On the other hand, my lease agreement states that I am responsible for all pest control, including the removal of insects and rodents. My question is, since bed bugs are regarded as an obstruction to the habitability of the apartment, does this fall outside the domain of pest control or supercede it, or am I still responsible for the extermination costs?
