paying rent on a foreclosed property

I would like to know if I’m required to keep paying rent on the house that I live in when the land lord is being foreclosed on, I live in utah.

Yes. Your lease is still in effect until the time that the foreclosure has gone through. But once it has gone through, then you are not obliged to stay. I would suggest that you start looking around for an apartment or house to move in to. You can use RPA’s services to check on the history of your next landlord. |
