RENT APARTMENT FOR 7YRS WITH PARTNER.MY PARTNER DIED IN JAN.2013.NEW LANDLORD DIDN’T SHOVEL HE FELL HAD A HEART ATTACK AND DIED.TOLD LANDLORD HE SAID THAT’S HE’S ALWAYS FALLING.NOW HE TRYING TO EVICT ME I PAY RENT NEVER LATE.EVERY OTHER TEANANT PAY PARTICAL RENT OR BEHIND.THEY ISS HIS BUTT.ISN’T THIER RIGHTS FOR ME

I am sorry to hear about your partner Rick. Why would your landlord evict you? If he is evicting you because you didn’t sign the lease, your partner did, then know that you have the right to be there by virtue of the right to succession. If you pay rent on time and continue to do so, then that should not be a problem. But landlords can also evict tenants with or without reason so it’s best that you talk. If nothing works, file a formal complaint through the RPA.
