Apt prep after “meth tenants” moved

Moved into Mesa, AZ apartment last Sept.  Was promised unit would be fully painted including ceilings.  After taking occupancy, painting still never completed.  New management company took over.  Previous manager then told me that "meth" was used and or cooked in my unit.  I am disabled and haven’t felt right since living here.  Also my young granddaughters stay with me at times.

How can I get "air quality" and filthy ceiling paint checked for dangers?  It is time to sign a new lease but can’t get maintenance taken care of.
