Can I break lease without termination fee?
By Kristin
I live in Florida and my air has been broken for 11 days now. I was given a temporary window unit and no time frame on when my air conditioner would be fixed. I’ve been checking on the progress almost daily, and yet I still have a broken air conditioner and an expensive temporary unit that does not cool well. I resigned my lease back in April, but it doesn’t go into effect until August 1st. Is it possible to cancel the lease without paying the termination fee?
