I need to know if it is leagal for the landlord to rent if they know that the build is infested with bedbugs? How can I get an inspector here to look at the property? | |||

Yes, it is illegal. They should have the place eradicated from any pest or anything that results to unsafe and unsanitary living. |

I have been living in an apt building for almost 2 years. Recently I found bed bugs and reported it. They have had them treated, but I am still finding them. I have also heard from one other tenant that they have them and have heard of 3 more apts. in my building alone. Day after day I see them showing apts to potential renters and more people moving in. There are also silverfish termites and bats here too. Nothing is being done. With 145 apts in my building alone. the bugs are spreading and there are lots of children and elderly here. I myself with diabetic neuropathy cant feel things when they crawl on me. DONT KNOW WHERE TO GO FROM HERE | |||
