Can my former landlord share information?

My former landlord took photos of my apartment when I moved out.  I left some furniture and personal belongings behind.  I left because of a bug problem and he also took pictures of the bugs.  He showed the pictures to my ex-husband.  Is it legal for him to show them to him?
