detest a bill

I am trying to detest a bill that my rental company is sending me. They are trying to charge me for a toilet that was already broken. I have called and called and left e mails to them so I can set up a meeting about the bill. They have ignore 5 phone calls, 8 emails. I know they are just waiting to just take it from my deposit if I leave. What do i do? This has stressed me out so badly.
