Did I recieve sufficient notice?
By Susan Colwell
I am under lease in my house until the end of Nov. 2013 , My landlord gave me written notice after I paid my Oct. rent that he sold the house and I have to be out on or before Nov. 13, 2013 .In my lease it states that in the event of him selling my lease is null and void . I found another house but can not get the keys and move in until Nov. 23, which is 10 days after I was told I need to be out . Did I get sufficient notice to leave ? What are my rights in this matter ?
