Foreclosure on Short Sale

By charles

I rent a room in a house with 2 other roommates on a month to month basis. Our landlord informed us a few months ago he was selling our house.  Later we were told is was a short sale and if the home did not sell in  few months the bank would take over.  Now the bank is supposed to take over the sale as soon as today.  Our landlord claims we all need to move out as soon as the bank takes over, but I have read that we should up to 90 days to move out once the property sells in a foreclosure.  What are our rights and how long should we have to move out?
