I think you should easily get your landlord to cover some of the rental cost. I think you’ve been patient enough… its probably time to get legal help. I think the RPA provides some type of option where you can file a landlord complaint. You should check into it.

I just checked, and there is an option to file a complaint against your landlord for him not providing hot water.
