I have gotten a pay cut (company wide) and can no longer afford my rent. Is there any way to get out of my lease due to this reason?
By down and out
I live in a owner occupied two family home. I have gotten a pay cut (company wide) and can no longer afford my rent. Is there any way to get out of my lease due to this reason? I have offered to rent it until they find someone to take it over and I have offered to get a roommate for the remainder of my lease to help compensate for the lack of funds. They just said no to both…any advice?
