increase in monthly rent
By Karen
Hi I want to know if it is legal in the state of rhode Island for a landlord to increase my rent 20%. I lived in this house 2 years paying $1000.00 a month. My landlord increased my rent as of 11/01/10 by 20%. Is this legal?? There is no lease or rental agreement.
