land loard & Bedbug problem

Hello All,
I am student living in a small apartment. I recently found there are bedbugs in my apartment. I contacted land lord and they sent me an email to charge for 950$ for treatment. They accused me for bringing bugs and also told me is better to stay at home!! I am so embarrassed because I need to go to my classes. They are very unkind and not helpful at all. 
As soon as I found this page, It was like a light of hope for me. I am filling out the form but don’t know what I should write in reason of filling or explanation part . Please help me.
