Landlord can take my deposit

I new tenant give $ 600.00 on November 21 on account of the security deposit (1,500) that day we signed the contract to move the 6th of Diciembre. I cant’ moved, dont have money, i Never payment the diff. of the sec.dep. and the first month according to the lease. I compromise to pay on December 20 the dif. the sec.deposit and would move the January 1. But I didnt like more money to my landlor until I’m ready to move on Jan. 1 I never moved, legally she is right to stay with my deposit for breach of contract ?
