Landlord Problems-Is it illegal for landlord to go through your keyless mailbox and go through your mail?

MI am facing landlord problems as he has been harassing me I owe him $400 dollars and he is steady calling my phone at wee hours in the morning coming over banging as loud and as hard as he can on door. I recently put a camera up cause I felt like he was up to no good and today he came over banged on door I pressed record and he went to my mailbox grabbed all the mail studied every piece of mail crouched down acting suspicions with the mail still in his hands and stood at mailbox for a while shuts mailbox and got back in hios vehicle and halled but! Is this legal or illegal for him to be doing?

OMG!!! absolutely NOT LEGAL, no matter how much you owe him it is a violation of FEDERAL LAW to go in someone’s mail box. You got the video take it to the police.
