if an apartment has mold in it and you move due to health issues before lease is up can that company later refuse to rent to you at another location if they have just bought that complex is it legal

Mold is a very serious health issue. Some states actually carry laws about it because it is life threatening. And it’s just reasonable enough to move out. About your question it only depends on the owner,if they will accept you as tenant since you have a record of not finishing your lease. I’m not sure if it’s legal to refuse. I’m sure they will understand why you moved out.. It’s there responsibility to make their apartment suitable for living. |
