I was given a 60 day notice after i complained to the health department – what are my rights?

This is a very necessary question. Well, one of the most important things you need to know if you are in cases like these is that your landlord cannot lock you out. That means they can’t force you out by turning off the utilities or changing locks, if they did you can call the police under Penal Code 418 being guilty of misdemeanor, you can also sue your landlord for this. The written notice should be served properly as well. He cannot just leave a note on your door. For all the details with these, RPA can help you further on that. Try to check their website. :)
