Neighbors smoking marijuana

By frustrated

New neighbors have recently moved into our complex. We share a common wall.  They are smoking marijuana every night. The smell is unbearable.  My daughter has begun to get headaches and I have a terrible cough.  Another neighbor and I have complained to the landlord.  The landlord has spoken with them, but the problem has gotten worse.  I am concerned about my family’s health.  What recourse do I have?  I don’t know if the marijuana is medicinal, but we are entitled to a healthy quality of life.  I don’t want to cause problems for my landlord, but I’m at my whit’s end! This has been going on for 6 months.   Should I involve the police?

Maybe this is the job of the landlord. He must be the one to give a reprimand or he will tell them to the authorities. He could tell that the smoking is already affecting other neighbors and that they must follow the rules if they want to stay. The last thing you want right now is to have a rift with your pesky neighbors.
