I throught that the heat had to be turned on in the state of maryland on October 15th.

As of today I do not have heat.  What state agency do I filed a compliant regarding no heat?

I have been without heat since December 29, 2010. The management sent out manintenance who then had to call the HVAC company as they could not fix the problem. I left for work before they were done. When I arrived I found an old, beatup electric heater. No one called me or stopped by during the weekend. I assumed that the HVAC company could not fix it either. My rent is due today. Should I pay it?

My Landlord was great with the heat until one day it broke down and all weekend he didn’t show until finally my Husband had called him on Sunday!!! It was freezing all our food in our fridge was frozen!!! I luckily had a space heater but it wasn’t enough!!! I’m a faithful Tenant of almost 5 yrs always for the most part paying on time(exept twice)!

My electric bills in winter total $500. per season and they are  supposed to be 20.$ a month!!!!! (ie.space heater)

I had fell behind at one point and asked for reimbursement of 2yrs of 500.$ electric bills and he disputed!!

note:heat is included in my rent!!!!

Instead I ended up almost in a fist fight with one of his employees that refused to close the back door of the apartment building when the heat finally returned that sunday! His employee argued it was on all weekend and the landlord wanted to remove yet another evicted tenants stuff from the apartment to the trash!!!!!!

I have a neighbor and my husband who witnessed him about to assault me!!!

This year on October 18,2010 it is 52degrees outside in NH and the landlord has still not turned on the heat!! What should I do besides move obviously in the mean time???
