No shower for 2 weeks-compensation?

our landlord is willing to put in a new shower.  He expects us to go without a shower for 2 weeks.  He asked if we had gym memberships so we could use their shower.  what is an appropriate amount to ask to be compensated for the huge inconvenience.

hey, saw your question definitely inconvenient for 2 weeks with a shower in your own home. whew! theres really no set of amount it depends on how much you think is appropriate and how much your landlord will agree. of course he has to agree first.
