Noisy neighbors

I signed a one-year lease with an apartment complex. After I moved in for two months, the apartment above mine was rented to a family with kids. After then, I always hear noise  either from kids running around or someone moving funiture all days, even after 12.00pm. After not being able to sleep for 3 days, I talked to the manager of the complex. She said, she would write a note asking the neighbor to be more quiet. But she could not do anything more than that since it is not a noise from party or loud music. now I end up renting another place just to for sleeping during the night. I cannot afford to pay rents for two apartment long.

I would like to get out of the lease with the complex. But the lease said that I have to be responsible for the rents till my unit is re-rented. I am really wonder what is the renter’s protection: the apartment manager asks tenents to commit for a year contract but the manager refuses to acknowledge the problem causing by the neigboring unit she rented to later! Please give me suggestion if there is a way to break the lease.  It was really terrible not being able to sleep in my own apartment and I cannot afford to rent two apartments long.

neighbor on the left smokes crack all day & has a dog who barks 24/7 in front of my bedroom window. uses window ledge as personal patio/dog house

neighbor on the right abuses her child.yells,curses, hits. children play in the hallways day & night. they prefer soccer & races in the hallways

i have called the owner & police plenty of times about this plus sent many letters to animal control.nothing has changed.getting really tired, bad credit can’t really move away.
