problem with a lease

Four Years a go my building was sold to a new owner.i was living on a one bedroom apt

then the new manager came to my apt and told me that the new owner wants the firts floor

unit to convert the unit in to offices.they offer me to be relocate to another building wich i

say no then they offer me a apt in the same building and with 2 bedroom for the same price

or preferential rent for as i and my wife live in the building.the first lease was ok the same

as the first contract.now he send me the new lease but is not as the first one he wants

double the rent.i think he is breaking the contract can you give me some advice.

This is definitely not okay. Do not sign those papers. Consult your landlord again.
