problem with my landlord giving my deposit back

 My landlord is trying to keep my $750 deposit back since we never moved in. I drywall mudded a lot in the addition painted and hung trim also helped her load her stuff into a big trailer and drove 35 miles to unload it into her new house and still she won’t give my deposit back what can I do I never even moved in the house.
