Property management company threaten if we do not sign a earnest money agreement to buy home they will give us 30 day notice to vacate

By Michael

Our property management company is the sellers agent for the home we have rented for the last 3 years. They are threatening that they will issue a 30 notice to vacate if we do not sign a earnest money agreement. We have went to get pre aproved for a home loan and got a agent to set the deal up and they became very defensive. Our agent contacted the seller agent and she hung up on our agent. the next day they threatened us again with a 30 notice if we do not sign and came to the home and taped the 30 day notice that same night to the front door. Is this legal and is there anything we can do to protect ourselves?
