Putting a lockbox on our door!

I am renting a trailer in FL.  We gave 60 day notice in Feb that we were not renewing lease.  We are scheduled to move out April 31, 2014.  A property manager emailed stating he was putting a lockbox on our door. Can he do this since we are still living in the house.  They are renting the place not selling, if it makes a difference with the lockbox.  Thanks
