Question ega Bed Bug

By Any Singh

Hi, We owned this house and had to sell it because we couldn’t afford the mortgage. We started renting the same place, so basically the person we sold our house to is our Lanlord and we are living in this house that was previously ours. Now, its almost abt a year now, and we saw bed bugs in the house. Who is legally responsible for the cost of Extermination and other costs (like disposing our personal belongins etc)? Can the landlord held us responsible for this? Just FYI, there was a Home Inspection done on this house at the time of the House Sale, so can we still hold the Lanlord responsible for this. Please let me know. I am not sure what we have in our Lease agreement etc, will have to find it. But please let me know what are the ways to save ourselves from the expenses. Thanks!!
