Roommate Problem

By Tom

My (ex) girlfriend and I signed a lease Dec 2010 to Nov 2011. I paid rent in advance from Dec 2010 to March 2011. At the beginning of March, she let her brother move in without paying rent. I left and told her when her brother left I would come back.  In order for me to break the lease, my landlord requires both of us to sign "early termination" but my ex will not sign, she has not paid rent since I moved out and she has a new boyfriend living in the apartment since May 2011. My landlord started eviction process and said my name has to stay on the lease until my ex moves out. What should I do?
