so cold

Its so cold in our apartment… and the landlord controls the heat…Heat is included in our lease… we also have a gas heater on the wall but we shouldnt have to use it. The boiler only comes on one once in the morning and its freezing all day.. its only 32 degrees outside ….what are the laws about this subject

Sounds like your’e in the cold side of the world. I’m not quite sure if such law for getting specific heat existed but what I can say is that if it’s in your lease then the landlord have to honor it. Maybe you need to speak to your landlord and ask him/her that it’s not good for him/her to have a freezing tenants. As they say, nothing can’t be fixed with a good conversation.

Yeah, you really need to talk to the em, if it’s really stated in your lease. If you have done that and the landlord have taken no actions for it you can file a complaint. It’s an option for you to ask help and have it straighten out. Hmmm… RPA i believe has that…………you can go to this site http://www.rentalprotectionagency.com/complaint_center.php and just what are you options. then again it’s an option.
