Tenants and Foreclosure in Georgia

By trb

I have customers who just leased a home this month. The landlord had the send the check for the lease directly to the lender. The first check was not processed so they questioned the owner of the house and was then told she was three months behind on the mortgage. Of course they are upset now not knowing what will happen with the house. It seems to me that in most cases locally that the lender does not evict a tenant and allows the lease to remain intact. These people need good advice.
