Our home has been completely infested with termites for several weeks and now requries tenting, which means we need to vacate briefly.  re we entitled to a rent rebate?

It depend on the agreement you have between you and your landlord. Talk to your landlord about that and make some arrangements so you won’t have any problems. If the landlord knew about termite infestation before you rent the unit , he is responsible for that, so maybe you can have a rebate. But it all depends on the agreement you had with him. Only you and the landlord knows. :)
