definition of normal wear and tear

If I’ve lived in my apartment for 6-10 years, can management charge me for painting and carpet cleaning/replacement, also nail holes in walls?  In CA, normal wear and tear is after living there 3 years plus, can’t charge renter.  What about TX where I live? Carol Sessions, Houston, TX

Law in Pa is 60 day notice, not matter what the ocntract states?

My landlod had me sign a document that had a 6 month cancelation fee in it, I was under the impression if I moved I only needed a 60 day notice in the state of pa no matter what the landlord contract stated?
