WHAT ARE MY RIGHTS WITH A BED BUG INFESTATION?

WE RENT A 2 BR APARTMENT AT VILLAGE EAST APARTMENTS IN COLO SPRINGS, SINCE FEB/2011

WE HAD TO SIGN A PAPER THAT THERE WERE NO BED BUGS (IT WAS 15 BELOW ZERO OUTSIDE)

WE FOUND OUT THE LAST TENANT IN THIS APARTMENT MOVED OUT, BECAUSE OF BEDBUGS

THE MANAGEMENT HAS HAD OUR PLACE SPAYED TWICE WITH TERMINEX. THE ISSUE IS GETTING WORSE! WE NOW HAVE THEM IN ALL THE ROOMS AND THE NEIGHBOR BELOW IS ALSO INFESTED

CAN WE GET OUT OF OUR LEASE? I’M WORRIED ABOUT MY CHILDREN AND 22 MO OLD GETTING SICK FROM THE BITES.

I’M ALSO WORRIED ABOUT MY FURNITURE, IT NEW AND I DON’T WANT IT RUINED, BUT DON’T WANT BUGS TO FOLLOW US!

WHAT SHOULD WE DO?? WHAT ARE OUR RIGHTS?

WE HAD TO HAVE RENTERS INS TO MOVE IN BUT HAT ONLY HELPS IF WE NEED TO MOVE OUT DURING THE TREATMENTS.
