Showing the house I am renting
By Gary
My two year lease is up in 5 months. The owners of the property have decided they want to sell the house. The have advised me that they are putting the house on the market this month. I am not comfortable having strangers in and out of my house over the next 5 months. Is this request unreasonable. My lease agreement states that they have the right to enter or show the property with a 24 hour notice. This was intended for the next leasee and I understood that a few weeks before or even a month before the end of the lease this may happen. Can they infringe on my privacy for almost 1/4 of the lease?
