Next door neighbor play loud rap music

I have a next door neighbor who constantly plays loud rap music throughout the day and late at night and i mean late sometimes at 12 am,i’ve made several complaints to my apartment manager and he says everytime i’ll talk to them well yesterday i was so fed up i called the cops and they talk to him but today i hear the same loud rap music  noise bumping through the wall.My only problem with calling the cops is that he will have it off when they arrived making me look like i somehow lied.Does anyone have any advice for me,i’ve tried everything and nothing seems to get him to stop playing that loud annoying music.
