Repair date

Hello,

my landloord is refusing to give me the date of repair they are claiming they had a leak in my garage fixed. Over a month ago I reported the leak and they said it would be fixed. When i asked when someone would be out to fixed it, they said it had been taken care of. I asked if they can provide a date when the repair was made and they refuse to give me a date. Am I entitled to know when the date of repiar was made? I never saw any one there to make the repair nor was i informed that anyone was coming out to make a repair. Also Can I have a roofer come take a look at it and give me a quote and let me know if a repair was made if they contiune to to refuse?
