Apartment flooding

My wife, baby and I live in a ground floor appartment of a converted building, our basement has flooded 4 times because of rainwater, and we also have had mould. We have been home each time the flooding has happened and luckily have only had very minor damage. Although our landlord has cleaned up the water each time, we have no reason to believe it won’t happen again, our belongings are in plastic tote boxes, and we are worried about the safety of our baby. What can we do????……
