Noisy apartment neighbors

By Susan

I already posted about my noisy apartment neighbors, but I forgot to add that yes, I did sign a lease with the usual clause about not creating disturbances.  At the end of May the Mgr. passed out notices to each apartment, in which she stated among other things that parents are not to allow their children to play in the hallways or outside on the landscaping, or in the parking lot or laundry room.  This notice was slipped under the door of all the apartments on a Friday, and on Saturday, the very next day (!!!) guess what?  Yeah, kids running down the hallway, and back and forth outside my living room and bedroom windows screaming and yelling.  Shows you how much these parents respect the rules!  I apologize for such long posts.  I’m so angry and frustrated!

Victim of loud neighbors & absentee landlord

I’m with you! I filed 20+ complaints and my landlord hasn’t done a thing or the building association I live in. That’s all going to end…Some people don’t care and have no respect. Just sucks when you are up against loud middle age loser part goers that slam around til 3-4am daily, directly above me, and your landlord+property management that doesn’t enforce their rules. I had enough so it’s now official war time.

My sympathy with you, that’s so weird and unfollowing of the rules. why not ask you apartment manager the problems you are facing and ask her to sort out the issue, Ask your neigbours to have some control on their kids movement in the hallway, or in and around your room.

You also need to have strong proof with you say for example:

>when this kids yell or shout or run in the hallway., at what time when you are sleeping or not in the house
> what are the problems you are facing due to this nuisance.
> does your home manager listens to you and has she worked on it or taken any necessart steps.
> does this notice went to all the neighbours or they are not aware of it.
> Did the other tenants also signed the notice which was send from apartment manager.

Hey why not rate your landlord’s apartment: http://www.rentalprotectionagency.com/apartment-rating.php so if they check other peoples looking at their review, they will be ashamed and also will be careful next onwards, etc

Do let me know your experience and keep me posted. Thanks
