Attempted Break In

By Annoymous

There was an Attempted break in on my Place, I called the police and they took a report,
The person who tried to break into my place had moved the door knob about 1/2 inches.  The landlord happened to be working on the upstairs apartment, at the time and had just screwed the door tighter, however the knobs etc are falling apart,
when I asked about security door. They had advised me they were not going to pay for one or install one. That If I wanted to pay for one and install the security door I could, However the other units have newer doors, The siding is gone which cost more money during the hot and cold seasons . . . Does the landlord have to replace the half broken door to my apartment, because someone tried to break in??? This happened 5 days after I had moved in and that was in March.
