Can roommate evict me?

By Melissa B.

One of my roomates the OCD, alcoholic, stoner roommate wants me to leave because our "personalities conflict". There are three of us living here the other roommate loves having me around. Basically it boils down to last month we had a $300 electricity bill so when this month the bill came in at $80 less and knowing how hard we all worked at getting it down I wrote on the bill "$80 less than last month!", I didn’t have any gold stars…lol  Being paranoid the weirdo roommate thinks it was a jab at him. It wasn’t it was meant to show how well we all did. Anyways I got home tonight with the first company I have brought into the house since I moved in(3 months ago) and right in front of him he says he talked to the sane roommate and they agreed they want me out by the 1st of the month. In talking with my sane roommate he said he listened but never commented either way (basically that is how we both deal with him, let him blather on and get it out of his system). I believe him, we do a lot together and have become very good friends in three months, plus he is afraid the insane roommte will have one of his stoner friends move in.

So the story out of the way here are the important parts. I do not have a lease, neither does either roommate, the house is rented on a month to month basis. I am not behind on any bills. The rent is paid via check written by the sane roommate after the insane roommate and myself pay him cash(he will provide reciepts if I ask). The other bills are all paid individually by each roommate, divide by 3 then that 3rd is paid directly to the creditor by each roommate individually(I pay everything through bill pay so I have reciepts), though they are in the insane roommates name.

Already long story short, I told him to take me to court. So can he evict me if he does take me to court?
