Carpet stain due to leak
By Robert Gunasekaran
I am moving to another unit within the apartments where I have been living for a couple of years. At my old apartment, at one time there was water leaking into my apartment from outside due to a poorly sealed wall. The apartment people had this fixed, but it caused the carpet to get wet where I had a TV stand sitting. When I moved the TV stand I saw that it had left a stain due to the wet carpet. This stain will not come out. Can they charge me for this? What can I say to them?
