Centipedes

By Marjorie Dalton

I just vacated my centipede infested rental house.  The landlord, Patty Little, refused to pay the exterminator, so I did.  However, after months of professional treatment, the house remained badly infested.  I was bitten a number of times and lived in terror.  Then I had a bad plumbing leak, and notified Patty bu US mail.  She provided me with no other means of communication, and lives on a different island.  She claims she never got the letter.   I called all over and finally made sure she knew, and about a month later the leak was fixed.  I left before the lease was up because she would do nothing to help me.  Now she says she is keeping my entire security deposit.  She broke the lease by not providing a habitable house.  I left in self defense.  How do I get my security deposit back???
