Continuous bed bug problem, can I get out of my lease early?

By Whitaker

My husband and I have lived in our apartment for two years. However, over the last 9 months, we have had repeated problems with bedbugs. Though we have given verbal notice that we will be moving when our lease ends, in October, I am concerned about having to stay there another 2 months.

We have a thirteen month old daughter, so no only are we worried about our own health (Because of the bugs and chemicals use to treat our apartment) but we are worried about our her, as well.
Do we have any grounds, under the circumstances, with which to terminate our lease sooner?
Thanks, in advance, for the help/advice!
