disabled, abused and evicted! what are my rights

By lisa hayes

I live in a mobile home/r.v. park and have for two years with a great rental record. paid always early and on time. to make a long story short, my husband i separated and I rented another mobile home with my sisters boyfriend as my roommate. If your not on the lease then u cant be there, is the rule. He hide her for the 6 mo we have been there. She beat me up, called the police, got a restraining order served on her to leave because mgmt refused to ask her to leave, but insisted my soon to be x husband left he wasnt on the lease and no longer allowed on the park property. He is my home health care giver and I made him that because i was being verbally abused and had no one else to help. Neither was on the lease yet I had to leave my home because i feared she would do more damage because the land lord refused to ask her to leave. after 7 days in a hotel with very little money left I can back to my then roommate and my sister still in the park after she was served. In a double wide that i can see from my porch, yet order states she cant be within 100 yards everything in my mobilehome taken, trashed, or ruined. I am being evicted for having my health  care provider stay with me, I am liable for all the  cleanup, repairs, due rents (full rent not half) and a big mark on my credit that will make it impossible for even myself as terminally ill to ever get an apt or mobile home mgr to consider me as a tenant. Is it legal, or discrimination? what are my rights so when i go to court im not pushed to the wayside in a case already decided because they have a string of lawyers and all i have is limited time left on this earth. I need advise quick! please help!!!!!

Sorry you had to go through with all of that. It is still wise to talk to all parties and square it out though. Or you can file a compliant with RPA and let an agent help you with all of this.
