eviction

By dolores

I was given a 60 day notice to terminate tenancy in March I asked him to extended for me until my kids finished there school year and he agreed to extend it until July but I had a family emergency and am not going to be able to move out until august first and I wont be able to give him the rent until the 15th instead of the 3rd when it is due. I called him and let him know and he said that if I did not pay him the rent in 3 days he was going evacuate me even thou I told him I was going to give him the rent but just late and that I knew I had to pay him a fine for it being late and in my rent contract it says I can pay the rent late but I have to pay a late fee I have never been late on my rent before. Is there anything I can do?
